Boogie Beer with Boba at Ken Ken Ramen in San Francisco

If you want to enjoy a boba cocktail, head on over to Boba Guys' pop up location at Ken Ken Ramen in the Mission. I had a hard time deciding which boba cocktail to enjoy at brunch time. The server suggested I give the Boogie Beer cocktail a try. I have to admit, I'm not a big beer drinker, but decided to give it a try, the Boogie in the name convinced me. It's similar to a Michelada and the guava juice is a nice touch.

Milk Tea, Boba Guys

Boba Guys is located in the Mission District of San Francisco. With the boba craze, we've tried several times to try their boba. First time we tried to go, it was already closed. The second time, they ran out of boba. The third time there was no line, there was boba and there were seats at the counter. Score! While they may be serving the most expensive boba tea in the city, you have to think about the love that they put into their drinks with organic milk, organic tea, homemade syrup and Grade A boba. My research partner said the best milk tea in San Francisco so far (we must admit we haven't been to Tpumps yet). I'll definitely return, most likely on a Sunday, when they are experimenting with new flavors and also have boba cocktails. I'm can't wait for the Boba Guys to open their own location in Mission. For now, they are at pop up locations and Suika on a limited schedule.

On a side note, while I do love the Black Pearl at E&O Asian Kitchen with the dense Creme de Violette poured down the side to be the pearl. I'd love to see a boba pearl in there instead.

The Drink - Milk Tea, $4
Strauss Creamery organic milk, homebrewed Five Mountains organic heirloom tea, homemade syrup and Grade A boba
