Soggy Dollar, Jasper's Corner Tap

Jasper's Corner Tap is located in the Hotel Serrano in the Union Square neighborhood of San Francisco. I love, love, love this drink. The coconut milk and pistachio syrup hooked me in. All my aches and stress instantly disappeared with the first sip. Each time my woes returned, I just grabbed the glass for another sip. After a few sips, I started planning my island getaway! With this cocktail, the British Virgin Islands don't seem that far away. Thank you Kevin for your twist on the Painkiller cocktail!

Beefeater 24 Gin, coconut milk, pistachio syrup, lime

Per the Cocktail Menu "Inspired by a visit to the Soggy Dollar bar on Jost Vank Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. Bartender Kevin Diedrich shakes up this nutty gin based version of the famous Painkiller cocktail that calls these Islands home.  Served over cobbled ice in rocks glass.

Jasper's Corner Tap is located in the Hotel Serrano in the Union Square neighborhood of San Francisco. They are known for the beer and cocktails on draft. If you aren't in the mood for a cocktail, they have a few mocktails on their extensive cocktail menu. The non-alcoholic cocktails (known on their cocktail menu as "The cups that cheer, but don't inebriate...") are equally noteworthy. I loved the garnish of lime and candied ginger with the Pineapple Ginger Fizz.

Jasper's Corner Tap is located in the Hotel Serrano a few blocks away from Union Square in San Francisco. I absolutely love this place with a great list of unique cocktails. The Bill's Toasty Coconut is a smoky collaboration with the bar and the kitchen. I knew I was going to order this drink not only based on the title, but on the wonderful writeup. The smoky touch of scotch and toasted coconut garnish puts this drink over the top. Even before I read the tiki and white sandy beaches in the description I already had the visual in my head. Although nothing can replace being at a tropical destination and sipping a tropical cocktail, Bill's Toasty Coconut is the next best thing!

Banks Rum, Laphroig Quarter Cask, lime juice, pineapple juice, house-made coconut sorbet

Per the menu, "Bartender Kevin Deitrich uses Pastry Chef Bill Woodward's house-made coconut sorbet to this smoky, tropical concoction. Using Banks Rum and a small amount of smoky Islay Scotch. Kevin shakes this tasty tiki treat for your tippling enjoyment. One sip will have you dreaming of white sandy beaches."

If you aren't in the mood for a cocktail, wine or beer, Jasper's has a few mocktails on their extensive cocktail menu that are worth trying out. The non-alcoholic cocktails (known on their cocktail menu as "The cups that cheer, but don't inebriate...") are equally noteworthy. Strawberry sweetness + a pop of fizziness = REFRESHING! The beautiful hue of red was equally captivating too!

I am returning soon to try some more of their interesting cocktails on the menu.

Allison's Ruby Summer, Jasper's Corner Tap

Jasper's Corner Tap is located in the Hotel Serrano which is just a few blocks from Union Square in San Francisco. I love the energy, food and drinks at this place. I am slowly making my way through the cocktails/establishments that are in the 7X7 Russian Standard Vodka "Toast to Ambition" Competition. I was surprised to see the Ruby Summer on the Draught & Bottled cocktails section of the menu. I loved the pomp and circumstance when the Allison's Ruby Summer was served. Two servers came with our drinks, popped the bottle and gave me a little notecard for how to vote for the drink. It's definitely not my usual kind of cocktail since I'm not a fan of raspberries, but I really enjoyed this exhilarating carbonated cocktail.
