Le Colonial is a French Vietnamese restaurant located a few blocks from Union Square in San Francisco. It's a beautiful place to escape the hustle and bustle of shoppers and tourists in Union Square. The cocktail menu has influences from many exotic and tropical destinations. One of my favorites at Le Colonial is the Pura Vida. It translates from Spanish as pure life. There is nothing more reviving than this cocktail with La Pinta Pomegranate tequila, fresh mint, fresh diced jalapeno, and fresh lime juice. The cocktail is refreshing with a hint of heat to spice things up.
