The Bar at the Vdara is the Hotel Vdara's lobby bar along the Las Vegas Strip. If you want an escape from casinos, the Vdara is the place to stay since they don't have a casino within the hotel and smoke free. If you need your casino fix, both the Bellagio and Aria are just minutes away. Although I tend to stay clear of bottled flavored vodkas, I couldn't resist the Pan Pan Passion cocktail with passion fruit. Since most of the bars in Vegas are high volume, I can't expect many of these bars to make house made infusions. However, the Housemade Pan Pan soda caught my eye because I had no idea what it was. You can read through page after page on google search and not find what pan pan soda is. So I'm glad I asked. When the server told me it's a soda with coconut juice and coconut creme, I knew this was a cocktail to try. If I end up at the Bar Vdara on another visit, I will be sure to ask for an extra bit of ginger juice to lighten the sweetness of the passionfruit vodka. I can only imagine this drink with some fresh passion fruit in it.
If you need a break from the Las Vegas indulgence, Bar Vdara has a few low calorie (aka skinny) cocktails on the menu ranging from 92-130 calories too.
